The Center recruits, educates, and places wood science and forest products students. The curriculum for the Forest Products Marketing and Management option is challenging and gives students a solid knowledge of the forest products industry. Our efforts are aided by those of our member companies, who provide scholarships and career opportunities for students. The Center strives to educate students to be prepared, productive professionals in the forest products industry. We encourage students to gain relevant work experience through internships and cooperative education. In the classroom, students learn by working with actual companies to develop business plans and by completing case studies of forest products firms.
